Zone1 Can a non white be a mormon?

They may try to hush you up. It's an arm of the mason-illuminati brotherhood and it is all white. It's of the foundation built upon from centuries by the kkk. It is what it is. They have their own religion that subverts the finished work of Jesus in order to keep their religious noose around the servitude necks of their blind followers.
And the protestant churches are the rebellious daughters of the Great Whore. Few belong to the true Church of God

he is lying to you I am a member of the Church, and anyone is welcome no matter how they look or from where in the world they are from.
You know, funny thing, I looked up 'Polynesian Mormon elder' and got no hits at all.

Yet Polynesia is a Mormon stronghold.

The so called Christians weren't Christians during slavery either. No true follower of Jesus would ever condone slavery, or hatred. or stand on both sides of men's wars of hatred like the false Christian religions allow the young men to do= by throwing Jesus away to appease mortal govts. Imagine Jesus saying its ok to blow your own brother in Christs head off for political reasons. Is that showing--love amongst themselves= a true mark= no.
99% of all the religions claiming to be Christian are false religions. Including Mormons.
You are such a retard. No wonder you are so mixed up. You can't understand the Bible either. Why did you move the topic to slavery? Not allowing the rights to the Priesthood is not slavery. The CJCLDS did not stop baptizing Blacks. They did so. Such an idiot.

Every male member who holds the higher priesthood is an Elder. Elder Wakolo is a General Authority in the Church and is a Polynesian.

So, one Melanesian/Fijian?

That's it?

That wasn't my point. You couldn't even find even one by searching online so I showed you one and he is not only an elder but also a Seventy and General Authority of the Church as a whole. There are many Polynesian members and most faithful adult male members there are likely ordained elders of the church.

Pretty rare, aren't they, for a stronghold of the religion....You found one.

Another funny thing. We get a few 'missionaries' out here. You know, two young pimply white guys, ties, bicycles.

Never seen a non-white one.

Strange...

well, a mission is voluntary, and the church decides where to send you if you do one.

Only bigotry.
Is it? Was it bigotry with Moses and only the Levites, the sons of Aaron being able to have the rights and authority of the Priesthood? No one else? Also, the gospel at rhetorical time was only for Israelites. No gentiles or anyone else. Was that bigotry?
All we know is the many theories put forth were wrong. That’s what the leaders said. There was a reason and I could speculate. But that’s all it would be. Here’s mine and it’s only mine.

As most historians know, the killing of Joseph Smith was an attempt to end the existence of the Church by bigoted religious people. They did not approve of polygamy and other religious rites like Temple worship of doing work for the dead. They also didn’t like the possibility of involvement in politics by church members. The extermination order of then Governor Boggs in Missouri to kill all Mormons is a perfect example. While this was going on, Blacks were allowed to be baptized and men conferred the Priesthood and ordained to the Melchizedek Priesthood.

When the conferring and ordaining was stopped, the Baptizing did not stop. My speculation is that with great attempts by Satan to instill hatred in the hearts of many people towards Jesus Christ and his Church that it was viewed as a possibility with more reasons for more to attack the Church. Especially in the South. But even in the North. We know historically racial hatred was also widespread. The Civil War did not end the hate and Satan’s desire to still destroy Christ’s Church out west too. Over time, the laws and the Church became strong enough to withstand the firey darts of Satan. Time to allow the administration of the Priesthood to all worthy men.

Would you like the church to send some to your home for some missionary lessons?

I thought they believe that the anglo saxons are choosen and america is their promised land or its more liberal now?

Given everything you just went through (supposedly), is it wise for you to be starting threads here asking about Anglo saxons being the chosen people and whatnot?

The Church doesn't publish racial breakdowns of its members. But, here is the best statistic available for Blacks in America and Worldwide:
"In the United States, Black people make up about 1–3% of the 6.6 million Mormons. Worldwide, members of primarily African descent are estimated to account for about 6% of the church's membership. "
With a growing membership in Mexico and South America, there is a larger Latino population as well. Percentages are unknown again because of the fact the Church doesn't care about race when they baptize. Neither does the Lord.

For anyone who wishes to meet with the missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints:

cnm - you can fill out this form and when they give you a call, you can request that they send your missionaries of Polynesian origin. You can then speak to them about how many elders there are of Polynesian origin.
