Can a Federal Judge order Schumer to end his shutdown?

Can a Federal Judge order Schumer to end his shutdown?

Probably not.
And whether or not a judge can order the Executive branch to resume snap or not,
I'm personally way past sick and tired of subsidizing these arrogant, entitled imbeciles while they spend taxpayer money on the very finest foods AND JUNK FOODS while hard working Americans must take what they can get and work within a tight budget.

THIS IS WRONG! The American people are FOOLS to tolerate this abuse.

FAR too many of these people getting lavish taxpayer benefits are abusing the system and laughing about it.
The government is totally fucked up to be allowing taxpayers to BUY VOTERS FOR DEMOCRATS. And that is ALL it is.

It is unsustainable, harmful to the welfare of the NATION and morally bankrupt.
Those who TRULY need the assistance can't get it often times because of the rampant abuse.

I disagree

A judge can order Schumer same way a Judge ordered Trump to pay SNAP

No. One is ordering a Senator to vote in a certain way. The other is basically a "writ of mandamus" which is an order to a government official to preform their required duties.

But that difference will escape some.

But a Federal Judge can order a Senator in much the same way that he can order the Executive Branch, right?

Not even close to the same.

The Senators are doing their duty, they are voting.

There was no writ of mandamus issued by a court to trump

SNAP’s Contingency Reserve Is Available for Regular SNAP Benefits, as USDA and OMB Have Ruled in Past

The Trump Administration recently claimed that SNAP benefits are not available for November 2025 because SNAP’s “contingency funds are not legally available to cover regular benefits.”[1] This stands in opposition to the law and prior practice, including by the Trump Administration itself...

But you believe that Judges can order POTUS to just spend money anyway the wind blows without Congressional approval

Congress did approve the money the Judge ordered be spent.

When has "Congressional Approval" (or lack thereof) stopped Trump before?

Last time he was in office he took money that was approve by Congress for military families and spent it on his wall - that Congress hadn't approved. So I would suggest not getting high and mightily about Trump needing Congresses approval.

Can a Federal Judge order Schumer to end his shutdown?

Instead of ordering Trump to act like a King and spend money he doesn’t have, any Federal Judge can order Schumer and all democrat Senators to vote for the CR

Crisis averted
No, a judge cannot force Congress to vote for a bill.

But a Federal Judge can order a Senator in much the same way that he can order the Executive Branch, right?
Correct, a judge can rule a law is unconstitutional.

Just as a judge can rule an EO is unconstitutional.

Frank, be polite and at least exercise a minimum of mental effort, so you don't waste people's time.

The court ruled trump could use money approved by Congress for defense to build a wall for defense

So a Judge CAN order Schumer to end the shutdown
That isn't what I said or implied.

Frank, don't add "shameless, lying troll" to your already dubious resumé.

A judge can rule a law to be unconstitutional.

If you would like to connect the dots to how that is the equivalent of ordering and end to the shutdown, be my guest. But don't be a mewling little prick and say that I stated or implied it.
