Campaign Contribution Limits

The way I look at the electoral college is that it is like the World Series. It's not who scores the most runs, it's who wins the most games.

And just like the Yankees in the 1960 World Series, a team sometimes scores the most runs but loses the Series.

In 2016, Trump scored less popular votes, but won the most electoral votes.

It happens.

That doesn't mean I have to like the results.

But at least I won't storm the Capitol. :crybaby:

I see it as, the states give power to the federal government, and as such, each state has a voice in who wields that power.

But at least I won't storm the Capitol.

The left are not innocent about disruption when they don't get what they want. They've done their share of "storming"

One of the top ten things in politics which annoy me the most is federal pre-emptions. And both parties do it at will.

That's what I started this topic for.

That shit has GOT to stop.

Another of the top ten is Congress has been willingly ceding its constitutional powers to the Executive for a long time now.

Decades.

We're on the march to a monarchy.

If we're being honest, we are so far away from the original premise of the cotus, one has to wonder, does it really even matter anymore?
