Iran, and a number of countries, invest heavily in IADS. It's relatively inexpensive compared to an air force, and somewhat effective.

Thankfully, Israel has not only F-35s, but stand off ALBMs and ALCMs.

Israel already showed that the S400 system can't detect them. I'd bet even the S500 would have a hell of a time.

 
From what I can gather Iran was hit with at least two waves (F-35s) already and a third was inbound along with stand-off munitions.

Iran's .mil is getting their shit pushed-in.

Talk about your pitiful air defense.

 
I wonder if Israel has any B-2 bombers? We'll never know, I suppose. Neither will the Iranians until they hear the whistle of the bombs falling.
