On Friday, the United States will experience a presidential transfer of responsibility, not a “transfer of power.” The power in our political system resides with We the People; may it never be transferred.

If we quit labeling a presidential change a “transfer of power”, perhaps incoming presidents will fulfill their responsibility to follow the Constitution and do what’s best for U.S. citizens.

We can only hope for this change. If not, you're fired.
