California the great shining example of Dem policies? That bastion of liberal progressive thinking? They are in debt up to their eyeballs. Their cities are crime infested squatter shitholes. Everyone who can is fleeing and now they have the highest unemployment?

Who want's to be just like California a show of hands?

The unemployment numbers in my area (western Pa.) have been hanging around 4% for the longest period since 1969. :)
 
To refresh our recollection, "unemployment rate" is a fraction (percentage) where the numerator is the number of people actively looking for work, and the denominator is the total work force. People who have given up looking are not counted in either the numerator or denominator.

While there are a ton of jobs available in California (which, culturally, is at least four separate "states"), few of them pay enough money to even support someone living in a Group Home. The high cost of living breeds something close to despair among working class folks, a large percentage of whom will NEVER own a home unless some relative happens to bequeath one to them.

There are a lot of reasons to love living in California - mainly related to the climate and natural resources - but there are also many reasons to want to GTFO. I fervently hope that a large plurality of the wretched third-worlders whom Biden has invited into our midst settle in California, so as not to fuck up the Electoral count in the future.

Not sure how the geniuses at these school districts would think covid money would be a line item they could count on year to year. Well, it's gone.

And Newsome has not included additional funds to the constitutionally mandated percentages he's required too.

The same can be said of many school districts across the land now that the covid money has all been sent to Ukraine.
