I spend all kinds of time in Ca. - what happens when your girlfriend lives there, and neither one is moving. She can't really, and I don't want to. Less well-tucked real estate in the best climates, and small towns, such as in the mountains, California is primarily a shithole. We're assuming the towns aren't drug havens, no doubt you risk Deliverance in some meth-towns. Cal. is weird.

I've seen addicts drop their pants in expensive neighborhoods, for instance. I had to go to California to have things stolen, it happened twice. Under Democrat rule, California sells out its US citizens in exchange for Illegals, and foreigners. It's really that simple. Anyone can buy property in the USA, and most foreigners think California has to be the most bestest State eva'. California offers an escape from pretty much all that BS if you have the bucks, some in the best climates of all. These select towns spend time and $ kicking poverty, crime and homeless down the road, so that primarily white liberal democrats can live so nice. Somehow the other cities are primarily black hair. I do not disagree with you that California is a shit hole. Like I said, I lived there 2 years and I left it, never to return. Then again, there are many states that are shit holes, like Florida (re state). That state was not a total shit hole under Republicans.
