The partition plan was not acceptable to the Arabs, who were by far the majority living within the suggested new borders for a new state to be run by a minority Jewish Zionist government.

They said they would refuse to accept such a structure imposed upon them, they made many protestations and pleas for fairness but the Zionists already had too much influence over the UN.

The specious arguments used to deny genocide in Palestine by the Israelis have the same overall structure as the specious arguments used to deny the Holocaust that we see in modern day Holocaust deniers (like those in your own country who walk around waving Nazi flags).
