Democrats continue to promote "free" stuff which - as every American over age 8 knows - isn't free at all.
In fact, it's important to note that there is no "free" stuff … only that which is paid for by confiscating (pronounced: stealing) the fruit of other's labor. It should be noted that the Cali legislature toyed with statewide single-payer until they learned the cost, then dropped it like a hot potato (or a hot high-speed rail line.)

No matter how many times you tell them that Medicare for all will increase their taxes by double they still think that someone else will pay for it. Some even believe that they can charge millionaires 90% and they will gladly pay it and that hundred million will make everything free.

Then you tell them about long wait periods, sub standard care, no semiprivate rooms. They refuse to believe. Even when you show them the current state of other countries or our own VA. Somehow things will magically be better here then any other country.
