Galatians 5:22-23
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."
Surely there is nothing 'AGAINST' these things especially from the Law.
And now read the same verse in the NIV.
Galatians 5:
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
The difference is that the NIV uses the word 'things'. Loving, being joyful, having peace/being peaceful, forbearing, being kind, having goodness, having/being faithful, being gentle, having self control; according to the NIV are 'things' and not 'doings in life.'
