But, But, Obama Killed Nearly 20,000 With His Swine Flu
Back in January of 2009, when the H1N1 swine flu pandemic first began gaining popularity in the United States (and the rest of the world), Barack Obama was inaugurated for his first, of two, presidential terms. Joe Biden, a loyal establishment Democrat was chosen as his running mate by the DNC, in the off chance the American voters might mistakenly elect an African-American for president.
Well, of the nearly 61 million victims of the H1N1 swine flu, Obama killed between 8,300 and 18,300 of them over the pandemic’s twenty month duration.
Jumping ahead to the last months of 2019, the much, much deadlier COVID-19 pandemic was taking off in China, the dangers of which, when reported to the impeached president trump, were intentionally ignored.
Now, in the closing days of May, 2020, with approximately 1.7 million confirmed COVID-19 cases, and the death toll climbing towards 100,000, the impeached president trump has convinced his devoted fanatics those 18,300 deaths are far worse than the 100,000 his inaction and botched methods caused.
And these 100,000 dead are just the beginning. An even greater number are expected to die in the coming “second wave”, after conservatives’ demands are met by state and local officials to (prematurely) lift all protective measures.
Trump, for some reason, compares coronavirus death toll (over 98,000) to that of swine flu (under 20,000)
