I wouldn't necessarily call it "McCain's" surge.

In the beginning, he himself was quoted as saying he was worried about its success.

Wouldn't it make much more sense to call it the senior military command's surge?

McCain's surge huh? Could of swore it was our brave men and women fighting who are the ones who made this possible.

Not John McCain, besides the surge only brought up the number of troops in Iraq to the number of troops there when we first invaded.

The problem there was putting those amount of troops back into Iraq after we've been told for years that progress was being made. Plus, the whole how Iraq is going to have a Gov't soon enough,etc.
