Burnt smell from my car engine

Probably a belt from a stuck pulley...

And a stuck pulley can be anything from alternator or water pump... bearings go bad.

Omg

The shiit won’t stop and it’s Feb

If a hose or burnt plastic can I still drive awhile

If oil ..I assume no
Well hoses are your cooling system and oil is your lube. If you have no oil engine will cease. If oil is just falling on engine and burning it will be ok just don't run out of oil. Check oil level before driving. Hoses don't usually burn unless left resting right on engine. Lack of coolant will make over heat and can cause long term damage.

Take it to a mechanic you tightwad. ... :itsok:

As my buddy used to say, if you don't know the first thing about how cars work (especially your own) you probably shouldn't be driving.

Not before usually making a lot of noise. A bad burnt smell could be a hundred things depending on the car, from a minor anoyance to major engine rebuild, which is why it helps to open the hood and locate the cause.
