Bud Light hit over 'desperate' ad with NFL star Travis Kelce: 'Going for the death blow'
Bud Light's latest ad featuring Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was branded by consumers as just the latest "desperate" attempt to claw back consumer support.www.foxnews.com
The ad titled, "Backyard Grunts with Travis Kelce," appears to be aimed at Bud Light's alienated male drinkers but most of the video's comments lambasted the brand for the latest attempt to save face.
"Man Bud Light is going for the death blow at this point," one commenter wrote. "This is what they think of their client base, stupid grunting cavemen."
I had to laugh when their CEO was making the rounds recently, begging boycotters not to harm the employees of the company, as if he really cared about them. Meanwhile, he doubles down on the stupidity under his watch. So, I guess he doesn't give a crap about the employees of his company and the others mentioned in this post. Guess he realizes that if he winds up getting the axe himself over it all that he'll probably be set for life with a golden parachute anyway. It’s been a trainwreck for Bud Light and everybody connected, and things are reportedly getting even worse for the beer giant as production is now being impacted.
Production plants that work with the Anheuser-Busch brand are now starting to shut down, with a glass bottle factory in Wilson, North Carolina being forced to close its doors in the next few weeks.
“With Bud Light’s huge drop in sales, last week, the plant’s owner, the Ardagh group, announced it would be shutting down the factory in Mid-July, laying off close to 400 employees.”
Another plant associated with Bud Light in Ruston, Louisiana is also shutting down, with 245 jobs being lost.
Guess this woke idea didn't work out. Apparently, liberals aren't supporting the cause?
REPORT: Bud Light Production Plants Are Starting To Shut Down Due To Plummeting Sales
Man! This is awful.... It was so unecessary. If you're selling to the public and you have a good customer base.... Don't harass the customers. Pretty simple rule of thumb. It’s been a trainwreck for Bud Light and everybody connected, and things are reportedly getting even worse for the beer giant as production is now being impacted.

My guess is he's in a tough position. I figure companies like Blackrock are whispering in his ear and sending in cash.I had to laugh when their CEO was making the rounds recently, begging boycotters not to harm the employees of the company, as if he really cared about them. These people are in business not in culture. They forgot that.Which proves that there is nothing Bud Light can do to get you all to stop being triggered by a single beer can
These people are in business not in culture. They forgot that.
Myself? I don't understand why people would stop buying something they like just because of an advertisement that didn't set well. Can't really wrap my head around it. I think AB just didn't recognize whi the customer base was. Still business should just be business. It's foolish to try to make it something else. And that business exist in the culture.
None of you people whine about companies that take religious stands
This world sucks. However, Mulveney in a nation of 330 million people is near 330 millionth in importance with so many people suffering. And making a good living while so many tens of millions more deserve better. And when we go global with 8 billion people, this piece of scum is a maggot. Then we get to government employees here. On all sides and with all authoritarian vengeance perceived or because they can against those, they can do it to. This company is just one of a few who has been affected. Just one of many who deserves to be destroyed.Which proves that there is nothing Bud Light can do to get you all to stop being triggered by a single beer can

Yeah.... That is absolutely true.Bud Lights mistake was not realizing there are 50 other shitty beers that people could switch to. Someone like the NFL or Chick-fil-A do not have as many alternatives for people to switch to
Hey…when Obamacare put millions out of work in healthcare. Lefties said suck it up. The industry will absorb the jobs. Also saw no weeping from lefties when Biden forced Vax mandates on the Military or Healthcare forcing many out of work. Infact they loved it.What about the families and employees of companies effected by woke agendas though? It works both ways.
It's not the workers fault for what the higher ups in their company did that ruined their brand and it's a shame they had to take a hit. But if a small handful of people have to find new jobs because America is pushing back against this kind of thing then that is an acceptable loss.
The real lesson learned is, is if you're a company you should shut up with politics or agendas and just make or produce whatever it is you make. Companies need to just make what they make and keep their opinions to themselves. All bud light had to do was just make beer and market it to their biggest customer, the average American.
You’re blaming the customers instead of the company that did it? How stupid are you?Well done, you all not only fucked Bud Light but all those other companies that dare to supply it with things.
All because you were triggered by a beer can!
Ain't America great!
