BRICS seems to be falling apart in recent days.

India continues to give lip service but

China is having both an economic crisis and a military crisis.

Russia continues to have economic woes due to fighting Ukraine.

Brazil....surprise, surprise, surprise....they are having yet ANOTHER right wing rally in defiance of communist leaning president.

Iran? Teetering as we speak. Probably gone this month

Cuba is out of oil....
Venezuela is over
Azerbaijan just inked a deal with the USA....

Not many places or players left....

Just saying.

The old wish of "May you live in interesting times," is never more apropos than today.

Iran is collapsing, but the Islamist regime is still in total control (and our allies won't let Trump take out the Mullahs),

Russia is getting its ass kicked all over the globe in ten different ways, but Putin doesn't give a shit and won't concede an inch,

Cuba can't possibly survive another 90 days, but everyone who could take over and make something happen has already left, so regime change is literally not possible for this failed regime,

Hamas is totally defeated but The World lacks the balls to disarm them, and Trump won't let the IDF do what is necessary,

Venezuela is without a leader, but the narco-mafia still rules.

Interesting times, indeed.

Was there really a concern that it would not?

Here's a quote that will not age well....

Iran is unique....dispatching the government without dispatching the regular people is going to take some precision strikes. We dont need to destroy the place....just liberate it.
Huge difference.

Cuba is currently dealing with a nationwide power outage....it will take weeks to get the power back on.

Countries will eventually come to their senses and realize that their freedom isn't worth the coal fired electric plant that China gives them. Everyone but Canada seems to be catching on to that.

No, it's not.

China is having an "economic crisis" because its growth is slowing down. It's still growing. A lot of the "economic crisis" is happening because Xi wanted to consolidate his political position, but since he lost (maybe), the economy is being focused on more.

The "military crisis" isn't a crisis, it's a purge. Who's doing the purging, we don't know. I haven't looked into it enough to figure out who is being purged. But purges are very, very normal in China. You choose your side if you want to rise, and you live and die by that.

The thing with BRICS is it's an anti-US group, and with what Trump is doing, he's STRENGTHENING BRICS all the time. Countries want to be a part of it, there are many countries at the side of this, drawn to China's "we'll leave you alone" policy.

Communism sucks and nobody knows that more than the people who are forced to live under it. Our nuevo Democrat party in the US, dipshits that they are, still continue to try and bring totalitarianism here. MAGA is working

I can agree with that. Of course, the left will point to the fact that the US is not supposed to target national leaders.

But I'd do it anyway. Particularly with regard to Iran.

I don't think there's anything that can stop it these days.

China certainly has issues.

At some point it's going to need to stop selling land for real estate in order to fund the government.

But that's still not that much of a problem.

China is still growing.

So it would appear the players involved are scrambling for earthly resources while this musical chair fiat snafu continues ......~S~
