Brexit dividend - Johnson sacrifices Northern Ireland to please brexit crazies in tory party,

Lol. Spoken like a true brexiteer. Johnson is reintroducing violence into the north because of his deal.
He said it was oven ready but it was half baked and only accepted by imbeciles.
Now he wants to pull out of the ECHR despite it being a cornerstone of the GFA.. Yesterday he posed as a defender of the GFA but this is all theatre to deflect from his own ebbing authority.
Onwards to Wakefield and Tiverton.
Spoken like someone who's just replying nonsense purely based on their dislike of Boris Johnson. Do something, one faction in NI doesn't like it, do nothing, another faction doesn't like it. Either way, you all know the nonsense you will keep peddling.

You said negotiate with the EU, that happened, look at their agreement. The EU are not budging, the agreement is not working, but, you're just posting nonsense to caress your hate of Boris. That is all.

Either way, Boris ain't interested in you, it doesn't effect Wales, so move on.

The GFA brought the two sides together. Brexit smashed that.

The EU negotiated the deal with the UK in good faith. Less than 3 years later they see that Johnson didnt negotiate in good faith. Because he never does.

It is his mess and down to him to find a solution in the little time he has left.

yes and his intention to move Asylum seekers to Rwanda because the sort of people who would want that sort of thing are who he believes are his followers.....and of course the danger is he gets enough of them and feels the need to keep on pleasing them.

Because the agreement doesn't work, it has be tried, but it doesn't work.

Yup. I fear that starmer is so scared of breciters that he will not tackle this head on.

Maybe making Northern Ireland something like an independent state isn't so bad idea after all?

The majority in NI wish to remain in the Union, the minority want to be part of Ireland. Going independent would never work. It's like a Scotland, it cannot afford to pay for itself. For argument sake, say it went Independent, it would have to have a trade border with the EU, between Ireland and mainland UK, which is the crux of the problems. And NI would have to pass the EU test to join the EU, which they wouldn't be able to achieve.

NI is a pain in the UK's backside.

Maybe the Union should be transformed? It should be a confederation of de facto independent states with common market, currency and travel area.

Unfortunately, Wales, Scotland, and NI need England's wealth, they've got little to trade with to survive.

They would become a Greece, bust.

Well, this depends on who you ask. The Welsh and Scottish will say they will do just fine after independence. Though, they rely heavily on England in their trade, that's true.

But still, I think it is a win win solution. London will claim it preserved the Union (maybe you won't even need to change the Union Jack on an international stage). Scotland and Wales will get a political independence. And this never-ending story with referendums and political movements will come to an end.

This is just a lie. Unionits are now a minority.. The govt are pandering to the unionists because Northern Irelands economic growth is greater than the rest of the UK.

Reason -
Northern ireland still has access to the EU and so it hasnt been damaged by brexit.

Johnson cammot allow that to stand despite Northern Ireland wanting to stay in Europe.

You are a true disciple of the brexit lie. Deluded and dangerous.

Well, the Welsh only exported slate and phlegm, and we tend not use much Welsh slate anymore, there are much cheaper alternatives. Apart from that, that's the Welsh. The phlegm part is when they speak on Welsh.

When the UK was part of the EU, the country that posted the highest deficit for over 13 years in a row was Scotland. More people live in London than Scotland. England pay for the poor blighters up there.

To be honest, not sure why England has kept them, they're parasites.

There is no economic reasons, I think. Just political ones. To preserve the Union.

The purpose of Scotland joining in the first place was for economic reasons, and that has never changed. I think Southern Scotland are pro union, it's the inbreds further up that want to cut their own nose off to spite their face.

Here's the history of Wales, and as you can see from Tommy Tainant, there's confirmation about Neanderthals in the first few lines of the link -
