You have to read this to believe it is actually out there.
climatekids.nasa.gov
NASA "Climate kids"
OK, so how to we explain to kids why Antarctic is colder than Arctic?
Because it has 90% of Earth Ice, 9+ times the Arctic? Well, no...
"The main reason that the South Pole is so much colder than the North Pole is because of the strength of the winds blowing around the poles. Antarctic winds are very strong and stop warmer air from mixing with the polar air. This also happens in the Arctic, but winds surrounding the North Pole are not as strong. Because of this, warmer air from the warmer mid-latitudes is able to mix with polar air, making the Arctic warmer."
The WIND did it, kiddies. It is the WIND, of course. One has to wonder just how stupid NASA is to allow this to be published, much less used to confuse America's youth.
The real truth, of course, is that the Co2 fraud doesn't want to ADMIT that the ice content of Antarctic is all about LAND near the pole... because LAND near the pole refutes Co2 as the cause of climate change. If 97.3% of Earth ice is on the three largest land masses within 600 miles to a pole, kids might conclude land near a pole is key to Earth ice quantity, and notice land moves... and then ask questions like
If Earth had two polar oceans how much ice would it have?
And that would blow up the Co2 narrative completely.
The NASA "Climate Kids" story has no link or evidence provided for the wind explanation. I must say, in the end, that is pathetic, and there are kids of very young age in America who likely will figure out that is
COMPLETE BULLSHIT

Which Pole Is Colder?
The North and South Poles are polar opposites in more ways than one!
