So this link is trying to make the case that although both Republicans and Democrats ask for certain accounts to be closed. Twitter was working for the Democrats. Citing 2 different lines of evidence to support that claim.
1 the fact that Democrats made more such requests.
2 that people who work at twitter contributed more to Democrats than to Republicans.
There is of course another explanation. One that doesn't require some evil plot between Democrats and big tech.
Might it be possible that more Republican posted things on twitter that violated their terms of service. Like... I'm just spittballing. Covid conspiracies? Or election denialism? Or anti-semitism? Gay bashing? Open racism? It seems to me that those are things that are still happening today, (where's Kanye) that that might be a reason for disproportionate Democratic requests to sanction people?
As for donations. This is what is called begging the question. Just because someone has a political preference doesn't mean you are not capable of acting professionally.
