In the past Trump had closet supporters but I personally think this time around his supporters are not in the closet anymore. A new national poll conducted entirely after Tuesday's debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump indicates Harris leading Trump by five points.

According to a Reuters/Ipsos survey conducted two-day poll, Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, has the support of 47% of registered voters nationwide. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, lands the backing of 42% of registered voters questioned.

Yup, new Ipsos poll has Kamala up by 5% post debate, not as high as I expected, but this was an actual poll, not the survey of 10 people, which the right are desperately clinging to at this point. LOL

The moderators fact checked Trump four times and Harris zero, even though she said many things that could have used a fact checked.

When you continue to say outlandish things like we're executing babies after they're born and migrants are eating cats and dogs then you're going to get fact checked. If you remain in the grey zone for most of what you say, then neither side will get fact checked. When for instance Trump said that we've given Ukraine 250 billion, this was highly inaccurate but it wasn't worthy of a fact check. ABC can't fact check every single lie Trump tells anyway otherwise the debate would last till the morning.
