Peace can be achieved tomorrow, if Russia leaves Ukraine, the end. No negotiating, no deals, nothing more need to be said or done. But that ain't happening when one country is bent on conquest.
Russia can't leave Ukraine, as the USA or Canada can't leave America. Ukraine is a part of Russia (in wider meaning, doesn't matter believe you this, or no).

That is not a serious postion. THat is a position designed to SOUND good to historically ignorant people, while actually ensuring the status quo, ie a proxy war where we get to bleed Russia and let someone else do all the dying for US.
