Breaking News. Plane crash in DC. Collided with either helicopter or drone over Potomac.

Maybe you should just accept your limitations.

Nobody is perfect. That's the point. Whoosh right over your head. But you are supreme as you let us know.
You just said striving for greatness is not a value. Nothing to do with “perfect.”

if it turns out this tragedy WAS pilot error, why don’t you tell the families, “oh well, nobody’s perfect.”

SMH at these libs.

ok there supreme one. Got it.

Trump gutted aviation safety advisory committee on day 2.
I doubt that had anything to do with it. It does sound like they weren’t optimally staffed at the time, but they still had enough people per regulations.

Staffing fluctuates slightly regardless of who is president. As a nurse, I’m completely aware of running short due to call offs or whatever. It’s always less safe to run short, but that’s life.

But since they blamed Biden for every conceivable incident during his presidency, Trump must be fair game as well

1) Did I say unqualified black caused it? No.
Anytime you mention DEI that is exactly what you are saying.
2) The only people calling me a racist hag are anti-white libtards. They insist that anyonr objecting to anti-white discrimination is racist. How ironic.
You mean the folks who see you for who you are, you are like a kid who throws a rock and then hides his hand.
\
3) The point is that when a policy gives more weight to diversity than competence, with the objective of hiring fewer whites, you will not get the most competent in 70% of the jobs, since whites are 70% of the population.
Post the policy that does that and not your dumbass opinion on what a policy says. It's laughable how folks like you think that all whites are smart as hell.
And you wonder why people call you a moron.
No, just idiots like you.

Not sure if anyone posted this. Pilot analyzes what probably happened. Decent article.

Article ends abruptly and to me the tone is Not dissmissive of the idea this wasn’t accidental

There was only one air traffic controller on duty when there should have been two.

The helicopter pilot? What part of "go behind the plane smack in front of you " would result in a mistake.
Remember both AC are approaching each other at over 100 mph, that's a 200 mph closure speed. Time ATC told the helo that, was mere seconds before impact. Looking like the helo T boned the plane.

“PAT25, do you have a CRJ [the airliner] in sight? PAT25, pass behind the CRJ,” an air traffic controller said at 8:47pm on Wednesday, local time.

Such “pass-behind” manoeuvres are routinely carried out every day all over the world, although visual clearances tend to be given in daylight rather than at night.

Seconds after that ATC transmission, the collision occurred, with background noises on the recording suggesting other personnel in the control tower saw the fireball as it happened.

The transmission suggests the helicopter’s pilots had been instructed to visually identify the CRJ airliner and ensure they would fly behind it while crossing the approach track to runway 33.

Normally a pilot would be expected to acknowledge the ATC instruction by saying “traffic in sight” or “traffic not in sight”.

That reply never came.

My money's on pilot error.

So trumpy is now blaming DEI air comtrollers.Looks like I was right.
What a waste of space this character is. What a fucking waste of space.
Maga writ large.
World leaders usually ecpress sorrow and promise to get to the bottom of it.
Not donny. He claims not to know what caused it then blames it on "DEI air controllers."
You voted for yhis shit. Its on you.
I give zero shits about what Trump said. Your op was a babbling mess of bullshit and you are still posting bullshit.

Somebody is responsible for this accident when the various agencies finish their investigations we will know who is to blame. Your gleeful gotcha moment over Trumps stupid comments is fucking disgusting and typical for the low brow crap I've come to expect from ignorant leftest morons .

By the way I didn't vote for Trump. Fucking idiot.

That is what it is looking like to me.

There were about 4 in the tower working but it does appear true that normally two handle the combo airplane and helicopter traffic. Only onewas.

That reply never came and apparently it was 30 seconds later until impact. I thought the crash was just a few seconds later. A half a minute where the “truly never came” is concerning

I doubt that will be a factor.

RJ was banking to the left on final, helo was turning in toward the AC in the same direction, ATC told him to go behind which would be for the helo to bank to his left, crossing the planes flight path in the rear.
