Breaking News. Plane crash in DC. Collided with either helicopter or drone over Potomac.

The training was over. THey were returning to their base. They were flying on the required Helicopter Route.
Interesting. The required route takes them directly through commercial airspace used for landing at Reagan. If neither plane was off course. then this was a disaster waiting to happen.

time to admit who is "in charge" and "owns it"
They were flying Helicopter Route 4 and at that point of the route they had Anacostia to the east and Reagan National to the west. It is reported that the collision occurred at 400 feet. This is what is being reported. Now, at that point they should have been no higher than 200 feet. and they should have stayed closer to the east bank of the river. Also, the fight path reported shows that they start to go west (right). Why?

I was assigned to that airfield a long time ago with duty at Ft. Meade. The helicopter routes are basically the same. I was not a pilot but a crewmember and did some navigating. I flew those routes almost on a daily basis.

But 300 feet higher than their hard deck.

good story. Who is in charge right now? Biden or Trump.

Actually it is 60.9% of the population that identify as "white".

In fact 76.5% of the workforce are white by by your own reasoning therefore, 60.9% would be white if hiring were fair.

Why is 76.5% of the workforce white when only 60.9% of the population are white? Seems whites are over represented by about 15% doesn't it? (and this with DEI policies).

What if in a few years, we found that 98% of the workforce were white, what would you say about that? would you be concerned?
There is no "fair" in hiring. There is "are they competent or not." The sad reality is most of the non white population isn't competent for anything but menial labor.

I spent a career in ,military aviation and I don't ever recall blaming a sitting president for an aircraft. Even one where I lost friends.

That is not a story. I provided you facts and reports plus the actual acft routes.

Apparently lost on you.

Cause: FAA hiring practices led to qualified air traffic controller applicants being rejected for underqualified minority applicants.

Effect: A plane and helicopter collision over the Potomac which killed all the passengers and crew.
Just as I thought, you're an idiot.

Seems pretty stupid for a route if so.
Those routes have been around for decades I don't think so. If a helicopter is at the proper height and close to the easter bank of the river there is no problem.

Trump owns this show.
