True, the pardon has been used a lot over the last decade or so. Honestly, I'm not even against him pardoning hunter, I suggested that a few weeks ago, however, this blanket pardon back to 2014 points to something more nefarious, that needs to be fleshed out

I am not even sure you could investigate hunter for anything within the last 10 years, as what budget would pay for it, if it could not be used to prosecute him?

I do not have a problem with Biden pardoning his son. I have a problem with him and KJP lying about it and then the media serving up false platitudes about Biden’s integrity for not pardoning his son.

HE SHOULD HAVE SAID “I CAN AND WILL PARDON HIM BECAUSE I AM POTUS AND THAT PRIVILEGE IS GIVEN TO POTUS.”

He also admitted that political witch hunts happen, after he denied it for years when the right pointed out all the shadiness surrounding the charges against Trump.

Hunter is completely pardoned from 1/1/2014 to 12/1/2024. The dates are interesting. It covers the whole time that Biden was selling "The Biden Brand," and it even covers very recent history - literally yesterday.

Why did Joe pick these dates, and not just the relevant time period for the taxes and gun?

These dates weren't just "round numbers;" they were carefully, and deliberately chosen.

Like you say, this is probably not the end of the matter, although the intent of Joe is to put this to rest.

I wonder if now Hunter can be compelled to testify on all of his foreign dealings since he no longer needs 5th Amendment protection related to self-incrimination.
