A pardon DOES NOT protect you from a civil trial...lets say fraud for hunter getting paid millions by burisma et al...
They could bring a civil suit for fraud against several bidens for money laundering millions with their web of bank accounts and phoney "businesses" that did nothing but receive payments.
Add the fact that you CANNOT plead the 5th after you've been pardoned...so if you lie under oath now...it will be perjury

He didn't pay child support because he is a crumb and denied the child was his... I'm willing to bet that he has money stashed away someplace... he is just that kind of guy...
