Unarmed for safety concerns.They can't.
Why not?
Surely, they would not break the rules and carry one on base against the rulesI don't think the soldiers can be armed while on the base
There are reports of an active shooter at Fort Stewart in Hinesville, GA, with the shooting occurring in the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team area. The base commander has put the base on lockdown. There are at least four casualties.
I dunno. Was it to steal some tech or weapons?
The troops are not armed on base. You didn't know that?Opening fire on a base full of armed personnel is spectacularly stupid.
There aren’t lots of guns on a military base moron. Only the MPs have guns. No one else is allowed to.If there's going to be a mass shooting then the best place to have it is on a military base where there are lots of guns!
And of course it takes some of th heat off the school children for a change.
(they're not running for shelter, they're all running to get their guns)
Nope! Where did you get that silly idea?I think credentialed personnel are granted permission to carry their sidearms on base.
Nope! Where did you get that silly idea?
he could be referring to MPs .Nope! Where did you get that silly idea?

I’ve never heard of anyone being able to carry on base. You have to report any owned firearms and keep them locked up if you live on base.

Nope, that's what the armory is for. At least one for every future mass shooter! There aren’t lots of guns on a military base moron. Only the MPs have guns. No one else is allowed to.
