What I am pointing out is the fact that I see no OTW in the photos. The Houston official may have been correct in these statements.

'They don't even have a token Asian. They don't have a token black person. It's an all-white, white-only conservative Christian camp.'

Four things here:

1.) Apparently you haven't researched to find out why there were only white girls there this summer.

2.) The woman assumes the camp is whites-only because she only saw whites. She makes quite an assumptive leap here. This is no indication that the camp is whites-only and there could be any number of reasons for there not being any minority girls this summer that have nothing to do with racism.

3.) It is not an employment agency or a company hiring employees. This is a girls camp and the families of these girls are customers. The camp is not obligated to have token black or Asian customers. Although I'm sure they are obligated to serve (so to speak) people of all races if they want to enroll their children, we have no evidence that they refused any minority girls.

4.) To raise the issue of race during a tragedy at this time was in very poor taste on her part.

If you find any photos on the website showing OTW camp attendees let us know.

A political official - especially those appointed- are there to serve all people so anyone in that role needs to keep their rants to themselves.

I listened to her rant. She automatically assumed because the camp is attended by all white conservatives, no other race is allowed. She needs to prove that.

My other point to her is that while she is upset that a seemingly “whites-only permitted camp” exists today, in 2025, she needs to take a look at what also exists:

• Black Only Organizations
• Black Only Spaces
• Black Only Graduations
• Black Only Dorms
• Black Fraternities
• Black Sororities
• Black Communities
• Black Churches

Segregation cuts both ways. If you have no problem in 2025 setting up clubs or organizations for one type of race or culture, then you look foolish ranting and raving about whites doing it.
