In fact if he's smart he'll close it because in the past 6 months the Yuan has devalued by 30% which means for instance if he had a million equivalent dollars in that account he just lost 300,000 of them.
It also means that the average Chinese family can no longer afford to break the starvation level of calories per day at the local supermarkets.
