Absolute shite unless you get a kick out of seeing 70s London.

Great cast let down by a dreadful script and direction. I believe this was an attempt to re-position the Duke in a post Dirty Harry world but he should have steered clear.

Thanks for the review. I like John Wayne, but I think I'll skip this one!
 
The plot in the Duke movies was the same in most of his 70's efforts. Brannigan was apparently a Brit/US effort to capitalize on The Duke's fading career with Brit pop star Judy Geeson but apparently it didn't work. For my money Rooster Cogburn was a freaking cartoon but the Duke's last movie "The Shootist" was the best in his late in life movies.
