Africa is currently facing its worst Ebola outbreak in history, with over 1,600 officially reported cases of infection, a death toll of 880 and rising, and a startling mortality rate of up to 90 percent.

One of the reasons that the Ebola virus is so deadly is that there is still no proven vaccine or treatment, and only a handful of researchers around the world are currently working on a cure. But while the World Health Organization (WHO) is busy raising $100 million for an emergency response plan, increasing numbers of people in West Africa are prone to or have already become infected with one of the most deadly and dangerous diseases.

So whatÂ’s really being done about a cure? Dr. Leslie Lobel, an Israeli researcher at Ben Gurion University and one the worldÂ’s few experts on the Ebola virus, is currently ahead of many of his international colleagues when it comes to discovering a vaccine that would make humans immune to the virus. But besides toting his own vaccine as the cure all and end all of the Ebola epidemic, Lobel has some interesting insight to impart on why this is the most serious outbreak in history.

Vaccine is to prevent the virus. Treatment is so far ZMapp is available in limited amounts and has been delivered to Liberia.
On early cases the drug might better served. Older cases might be too far gone. To use too much of the drug, 2 of more doses, to those patients might be a waste. It will be hard not to want to cure everyone.

A vaccine will prevent the spread.

I say we gather all the Ebola deaths and hurl them into Israel proper from a Trebuchet.

Who's with me?

I say we gather all the noisy "HUMANITARIANS" and send them to Iraq/Syria/Etc.. to experience an insightful real time seminar..

Who's with me?
How's this for a reality show?

We stick Bush and Cheney in a Fallujah neighborhood with only 50 dinars to their name
and give them a week to make it to the Green Zone.

Stupid, like most of your posts, complete nonsense.

Radicalism is wrong, and you just prove it to get some spotlights to say your propaganda, nothing new under the sun.
Back to the subject, how about making a list of boycott supporters? :)

The premise of the OP is somewhat flawed.

It would be like Joseph Mengele arguing that his experimentation should be supported because he might cure Ebola. Or cancer. Or the common cold.

But people doing evil throughout history have argued that the end justifies the means.
It doesn't.

Not me.
Anyway, I am sure that the specialist labs around the world have weaponised Ebola in more effective ways. Probably including the labs in Israel, which are being lauded here.

you are sick!

The suggestion is racial, dangerous and stupid
Not as stupid as claiming Hamas uses human shields, when you're dropping 1000 pound bombs that take out entire neighborhoods.

Says who, and can you give a link to this alleged 1000 lb bomb from other than an ISLAMONAZI source.

You do realise that a modern 1000 lb bomb would take out gaza city and the death toll would by in the hundreds of thousands

derailing the thread again, its amazing how you suckers always got a bad thing to say about Israel no matter how good Israel does..
