Both sides suck

Dems suck and are evil. Rinos suck and are evil. Conservatives are hated by both, and want the best for the country.
There are NO conservatives.
That was a made up term by Reagan.
Just like "Woke" is.
And he was by no means, shape or form, a conservative.
Reagan gaslit RWNJ's and of course, they bought it, hook, line and sinker.

oh now its an attempted insurrection....
It wasn't successful.
Like an attempted bank robbery, when they didn't get the $$$.
Had they, it's robbery.
well then that summer when all that rioting happened those people should be charged too that was many times more violent...
Why do you people try to conflate the two totally different instances?

ONE was about a black man getting killed by a cop.
ONE was about an election, Trump claims was stolen.

were those people violently protesting against the govt?...if so it was an insurrection....learn the meaning of the word....

What qualifies as an insurrection?

While the term "insurrection" is not explicitly defined by federal law, courts and legal scholars generally interpret it as a violent uprising or organized resistance against the government or its regulations.

Watts riots 1965

The Watts riots, sometimes referred to as the Watts Rebellion or Watts Uprising, took place in the Watts neighborhood and its surrounding areas of Los Angeles from August 11 to 16, 1965. The riots were motivated by anger at the racist and abusive practices of the Los Angeles Police Department, as well as grievances over employment discrimination, residential segregation, and poverty in L.A.

Chicago riots 1968.

At 6:01 PM on April 4, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was murdered in his hotel room in Memphis. Throughout the United States, black Americans took to the streets in protest and anger, bringing riots to Baltimore, DC, and Chicago, which experienced the worst of the three cities. By the following afternoon more than 30 blocks had become consumed by the riot, transformed into a burning sprawl. In the weeks that followed, Chicago experienced one of the worst food shortages in recent history.

Los Angeles 1992

1992, and there’s a video that’s been going around of two police officers clearly beating a defenseless black man while a few other officers stand and watch.

In the January 6th case a violent uprising DIRECTLY at the federal government, while people were inside.

fancy tell me how i am wrong?....or do you have a different meaning of the word?...
If you were right, why weren't these other people involved in riots charged with seditious conspiracy?

These other people were mad at the government, but they didn't try to overthrow the government.

If we can start getting just regular, not wealthy, candidates elected things will improve. The rich and powerful don't know anything more about leading than a janitor.

So.............why weren't these people charged............

Yes, a government agency.
Just like at Kent State in 1970, people attacked the NG.
Why weren't they charged?

It appears, they save those charges for directly attacking the government..............Congress people in the capitol building.

And the hand just re-arranges the players in the game" Al Stewart

Dec 18, 2023 · WASHINGTON (AP) — The role that fake slates of electors played in Donald Trump’s desperate effort to cling to power after his defeat in the 2020 election is at the center -of a four-count indictment released against the former president Tuesday.

The 45-page indictment states that when Trump could not persuade state officials to illegally swing the election in his favor, he and his Republican allies began recruiting a slate of fake electors in seven battleground states — Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — to sign certificates falsely stating that he, not Democrat Joe Biden, had won their states.

.both of the incidents the capitol and the past riots fit the meaning of the word....people were not prosecuted as being traitors to the state just because they were pissed off because of the racial factors, why make this problem worse?.....at the capitol a bunch of drunk idiots, who also fits the description of the word....get prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law ....in the last century they would all be treated as a bunch of drunken fools and fined the more aggressive ones some kind of jail time.....now its.... lets get these traitors ....you think politics might be playing a part here?...
