Oh, I liked the Chilton books! They had a section of drawings of the nose (grill, headlamps, and turn signals) of every model that I would consult to identify year, make, and model of cars with. Are Chilton books still published?

I tend to keep cars until it is no longer practical to keep them in service, most of my cars have ended up going to junkyards rather than to new owners that would continue using them. But if I did have a car that I was going to sell to someone that intended to keep it in service, and if I had service manuals for that car, and if I did not expect to have another car for which that manual was applicable, I would include those manuals in the sale of the car.
