Boise Idaho is a town where there are very few who are LGBTQ to begin with.
Then on top of this, EVERYONE has to have a job. The requirements for living off of the Government dime are high and very few qualify.
Jobs are difficult to come by.
So for the small lgbtq population to take a day off from work (unwise) just to march in some parade that will do nothing, accomplish nothing, give the population a potential of losing their precious jobs....
Not happening.
Boise also has a large Mormon population as well as Nazarene and other conservative Christian denominations. (As well as its share of heathens)
So a parade to publicly announce a sexual perversion? Nobody there has the time or desire to do anything associated with it.
Horse riding? Sure
Motorcycle parade? Sure
Unique car parade? Probably
We are talking about a place where the high schools empty out often in the Fall for opening day of deer season and the county fair during animal judging.
This is NOT a place where people are more concerned about recreational sexual activities than accomplishing real productive tasks.
