There has been one "positive" consequence of this year's orgy of chaos and crime: Americans of ALL ethnicities now realize that their only defense against very, very, very bad people (who have no decency whatsoever) is law enforcement.

People who previously had a negative or neutral attitude toward cops now realize that the thin blue line is their only defense against the bad actors who are now brazenly destroying even the good areas of many American cities.
