They did no such thing, Mr DUPED. I guess you also haven't heard that actually, by far, most contacts between White settlers and Indians were peaceful, as I learned in Anthropology of North America (City University of New York).

You seem to be unaware that the European/American Indian contact was generally quite peaceful, with a lot of cross-education, trading, and even inter-marriage. Actually, very few American Indians made contact with European immigrants, and most lived many miles away from them, and never laid eyes on one in their entire lives.

The reason why so much talk has gone on about ill-treatment of American Indians, is due, in large part, to the dime-store novel industry, which sold their books (comic books form) to Easteners. It was quickly apparent to the dime novelers, that Easteners were not interested in the peaceful stories of European/Indian contacts, and the ones that sold were those about the fighting and war (the bloodier the better).

Consequently, these stories (Trail of Tears, Wounded Knee, Custer's Last Stand, etc)
become 99% of the news that reached the East from the West. And also became the standard train of thought for all, regarding European/American Indian contact. And it remains so today, helped also by movies and some TV shows.

You might also note, that American Indians killed others of other tribes for hundreds of years before any of them ever saw or heard of a White man. Inter-tribal warfare was just as prolific in North America as it was in Europe, or anywhere else, and most Indians who died in contact with Europeans, did so as a result of disease, which was unintentionally passed to them.

As for "aliens" Indians themselves also migrated to North America across the Bering Straight land bridge, from Asia during the Pleisticene (most recent of the ice ages)

History is just that - history. Everything was far different then, and the past cannot be undone. No matter how much some people whine about it.

Every group capable of doing so probably took the land of others by force. Look at Africa today, Hell, the savages there are still hacking each other to bits with machetes. Do you think, for a moment, that those people wouldn't slice and dice you in order to steal a fucking dime? And if they're acting like savages today, imagine how brutal they were in their own "history."

And looking at it from another angle, most of the people's affected through America's history are FAR better off than they would have been if this country had not been created.

Would ANYONE with a brain actually prefer to live in some African shithole. Swatting flies on their face, and wondering what they would be eating for dinner, if anything. They had plenty of war and slavery in their history, too. In fact, they still engage in those things.

Native Americans had their problems here, too. Nobody ever mentions these things because they find it more comforting to be phony, arrogant, self-righteous clowns, while accusing others of wacism, white supremacy, and every other put down they can dream up. All the while, NEVER admitting that, without the achievements of whites, their own lives would almost certainly be far more miserable and poverty stricken.

Finally, I would add that those who spend their lives whining about how horrible this country is can buy a plane ticket to the shithole of their choice for just a few dollars. But everyone knows the whiners are all mouth. They would NEVER leave the gravy train they enjoy, right here in America, courtesy of the awful white people who created the wealth and products we all enjoy.

There were some bad things done as this country was built, but bad things were done all over the world. Horrible things are still being done in many parts of the world.

So, if BLM whiners, and their supporters really want to improve their lives, they should get over themselves. Life is tough for everyone. Period. Get educated, get and keep a job, work your ass off, and amazing changes will be possible. Whining is a waste of everyone's time. And nonstop begging will only make people hate you.

I know I'll be attacked for this post but isn't it about time for a bit of honesty? And to say aloud what many people have long been thinking?

Colonizing the world has been perhaps the biggest BENEFIT that the colonized people ever had. Generally colonized people were of extremely low technology levels, and had their living standards raised immensely from European expansion to their lands.

No question that living standards for humans went up dramatically when white Europeans arrived here. The American Indians were so low technogically, they didn't even have the wheel, or even buildings. They lived in tents and mud huts. In Europe, people were living in buildings (some of them palaces), for thousands of years already, when Europeans first arrived here in North America.

People crab about what Europeans did to American Indians, but how many Indians living today would want to go back to living in tents right now, with snakes joining them during the night while they're sleep. How many would give up their cars, TV sets, indoor heat, AC, and plumbing. give up the computers, cellphones, stereos, and all the advances of modern medicine ?

European expansion is one of the best things that ever happened to those folks.
