Koran-burning conviction condemned as example of 'de facto blasphemy laws'
THE conviction of a man who burned a Koran has been condemned as an example of “de facto blasphemy laws”. Hamit Coskun, 50, yelled “f*** Islam” as he set fire to a copy of the religious text outsid…

The tories are all over this because obviously there are no other issues in the world today.
But it was a nuanced judgement so that presents a challenge for conservatives.
The context is all.
If you want to burn a Loran or Bible in your own home tha tis still fine.
But if you travel 200 miles to do it in front of the Turkish embassy then that is an obvious attempt to inflame a reaction.
A bit like those crazy women "silently praying" outside abortion clinics. Praying isnt illegal. Purposely foisting your crazy religion on vulnerable women is not ok.
Its not complicated unless you are a conservative.
