Blake Griffin signs for the Brooklyn Nets...DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin are back for "Lob City 2: Seniors Tour"

Nets are prolly favorites to come out in the East. Griffin has had few nice games this season, but he isn't a force like he was when he was younger. A lot of fans think he's washed. Nor did he win a ring when he was with CP3, DAJ, Doc Rivers, and the Clippers. He joined the right team in the weaker EC.

33 combined all-star appearances

scarier hours in brooklyn coming soon

One of the perversities of NBA basketball is that the WHOLE is almost never equal to the SUM of the PARTS. On many occasions, "super teams" have been assembled, with two or three of the top stars in the league at the time, and they usually fail to provide a championship.

Also, teams often play better (and win, at least in the short term) when their Superstar sits out.

But from a business standpoint, this signing is huge. They will be the top draw in the league, viewer-wise, if the stars can all ever be healthy at the same time.

The Warriors just blew out a strong Memphis Grizzlies team by 15...without Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson...maybe Blake should have signed with dub nation?

Brooklyn Head Coach Steve Nash offered this helpful advice to his men on what they should do with Blake on the court: "THROW HIM THE FUCKING BALL!"
