Nobody ever said Jews never commit crime. But the fact remains that blacks do commit violent crime disproportionate to their percentage in the population. MANY positions would prefer certain degrees and SKILLS learned. Even white kids compete against white kids for "starter" jobs. If you're going into media for instance, getting a major in journalism and a minor in some technical or legal knowledge or foreign language would play better in SOME orgs than others. You COULD get into media with an UnderGrad history degree. But probably earn less initially.

All journalism degrees ARE NOT EQUAL. Neither are they EQUAL in other professions, If you ate up all your electives in wildly UNRELATED courses -- you're gonna earn less. Or - if you were there in the FIRST PLACE on SPORTS scholarship or switched majors -- you're LIKELY to have a less valuable degree. NOT FOR SURE -- but likely.
