Maybe their net worth is falling because they’re spending every cent they earn. I live in a liberal area, and if you gauged by the percentage of black customers at Morton’s and Prada and other upscale places, you’d think they were richer than whites.

I stream, therefore I haven't seen commercials since mid 2000s.
Except for sporting events, and even then see less commercials because still streaming.
Having said that, I noticed this trend some time ago. I have no idea how often or percentages, but there is no denying colored people are used way-way-way more than their population percentage.

I was shooting a little craps the other day. (Picture it: a polite, middle-aged Jewish woman surrounded by big black guys in their 30s and 40s cursing up a storm.) I couldn’t believe the high bets they were placing all over the place on each roll - pass, several place bets, hard ways, etc., etc. - and at first I thought these guys much be rich! After all, it was 2 pm on a Thursday and apparently they were so wealthy they didn’t even have to work.

I sure couldn’t afford to bet like that. And then it occurred to me - I probably had more money in the bank than the lot of them put together - and why? Because I was NOT betting all that money.
