Black Republicans feel left out of Trump's 2nd-term picks

“”In a video posted to YouTube in 2012 titled “Bishop E.W. Jackson Message to Black Christians,” Jackson says:

“It is time to end the slavish devotion to the Democrat party. They have insulted us, used us and manipulated us. They have saturated the black community with ridiculous lies: ‘Unless we support the Democrat party, we will be returned to slavery. We will be robbed of voting rights. The Martin Luther King holiday will be repealed.’ They think we’re stupid and these lies will hold us captive while they violate everything we believe as Christians.”
“Shame on us for allowing ourselves to be sold to the highest bidder. We belong to God. Our ancestors were sold against their will centuries ago, but we’re going to the slave market voluntarily today. Yes, it’s just that ugly.”
So you give me an opinion piece, which proves it is something the right made up. Why is it black folks don't vote Republican?

Ben didn’t want the role. He said he didn’t want to serve in public office this time around. He may change his mind but to date he has not.

Perhaps someone should explain to him that public office is something you get elected to.

It isn't Republicans screwing over African Americans. The Progressive cities should be paved with gold from the money spent in them. Unfortunately, the real trickledown theory does not trickle down far, and the socialist agendas allow people to play the system.

"As President-elect Donald Trump fills out his Cabinet and chooses his closet advisers ahead of Inauguration Day, many African American leaders are asking why more Black people haven't been appointed to key positions. ABC News spoke to more than a half dozen longtime and new African American conservatives and Republicans within Trumpworld, in and outside of Washington."

Apparently there are no ‘black jobs’ available.

Trump isn't a racist who makes decisions based on peoples' skin color. That's your party.

You know so much of Trump and know nothing. His personality is that he tries to keep what he says. So, he will make sure he helps us all and not forget certain groups. There is no perfection. Let me say this. For the last 4 years there was not a crumb from Joe to many people in this nation.

And there just aren't enough QUALIFIED BLACK people to do the work right?
Apparently none who wanted a job and were qualified to do the job. Others are solid Trump supporters but too valuable in their present jobs to take them out. Tim Scott, undeniable Trump supporter for instance, will head the Senate Banking Committee that will be critical to implement a lot of Trump's economic agenda. He and Trump agreed he can serve best there. But look for him to be JD Vance's running mate in 2028. An unbeatable combination if the Trump team can deliver on most they hope to deliver in the next four years.

Trump is not racist or 'woke' so he doesn't pick people because they are black or female or gay or transgender or whatever. He picks people that have the skill set needed for the job and most importantly share the MAGA vision of a strong, free, secure, prosperous America with liberty, choices, options, opportunity for all and a government that serves the people instead of its own interests and power.
