Okay, Ben Carson is a renown surgeon right? So wouldn't it have made more sense to assign him to one of the health agencies - the department of health and human services (HHS) or the National Institute of Health (NIH), etc.

But instead of placing him in an area within his field, they make him head of HUD, Housing and Urban Development.

So yeah, that makes him, through no fault of his own, look like a token made by Trump in an attempt to appease those among us who are not fully knowledgeable or aware of how the populace is manipulated.

Carson was transitioning out of a successful career in medicine and wanted roles that would help him grow as a politician. Race has nothing to do with people wanting to move away from their profession. Actors do it all the time to avoid being “typecast.”
