A Black police officer in New Jersey who alleges she was disciplined after she wore her hair in a traditional African hairstyle has sued the township where she works and one of her superiors, alleging that she was discriminated against for wearing a natural hairstyle.

Another does not follow the rules. Please the police and military have to follow dress codes. They to look as a sign of respect. You can not have your hair rolled up in rollers . What if one falls out hits some in the face when you are arresting some one. geez.

Maybe she she look for a different job that would allow her to wear her hair anyway she choose if it’s too difficult to follow the departments procedures
