Yea I agree with Billy there, it's not just blacks, the socialism grooming thing isn't racial it just seems that way because "white poverty" doesn't really make headlines; whites don't have a "we were slaves" history for the media to play on so they end up going "well these white people couldn't find a job" because that's all they can come up with - but when it's apparent said white person didn't want a job and never looked for one (usually cause there's a shit ton of jobs open in the area), people kind of go "serves you right" and the story's a flop. Black folks though, they can completely avoid that reality and go straight for the "systematic racism" sympathy to get the story to hold water.
And no, I'm not a racist, though I sure get painted that a lot when I say anything negative. Honestly though some of the neatest folks I know are successful black business owners, military folks, and even a few politicians - and of course my step-son. ******* little genius I tell ya, he just turned 20 and is working in a tattoo joint while studying to work for NASA. One of my favorite peeps, Charles, whom I'd occasionally help run his string of local bars and men's clubs up here and since I can't stand drunken drivers, I'd hang out with him a couple hours after bar time helping do the books, stock, and shit like that before I headed home myself. Anyway, he had the greatest/most fascinating stories about growing up "on the wrong side of the tracks" in Chicago. I mean some of it was bad shit, racism and government abuse shit, but he was like "**** you I'm going to prove I can do this just to spite you fuckers" and I always really liked that about him. Sadly, he retired like five years ago and left the snow behind, now we don't have anyone bringing up Jazz artists; he sponsored an annual jazz festival. I love jazz, good sax is like a drug for me, I can't even walk past the Snow Goose without stopping dead on the sidewalk to listen heh And rambling...
