I see. So otherwise black lives don't matter, or they don't matter as much?Black lives matter is specifically about unjustified killing of blacks by cops of any race.
Cops are given the power of law to arrest citizens and use deadly force when necessary. Thugs killing people is not backed by law, it's counter to the law, and is prosecuted. But when a cop kills a citizen, the state killed that citizen. And if unjustified killings of citizens by the state targets blacks, then that is a major injustice.
No, they do matter. But it's not the power of the state that's killing them.
How do you stop black on black violence? Well one way could be for the police to earn the trust of the community by being hired from the community, stop racial profiling, and stop police brutality.
Another way is stop sending people to prison for drug posession. Prison is only good for learning violence.
Another way is improve the schools.
Another way is give the community hope by increasing affirmative action, not decreasing it.
