Yep we would call ahead and arrange for a certain waitress at a seafood place.....She would actually come in if she was off because it was a really good payday for her. We usually had a party of 15-20 or so and she was top notch.

She would usually get around a $600 to $800 tip and that was back in the early 80s.....That was real money for a waitress back then.
