OMG - She wasn't even close! You can't call this a typo as she spelled it out this way while giving a speech!!. This is the name of the city's NFL team; how can she get this so wrong??!! This creature truly is illiterate as are most blacks , and she must be removed from office.

jan 22 2025 Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker responded to widespread mockery that was directed at her when she misspelled the name of the hometown Eagles during a speech on Sunday.

During a chant to celebrate the team's playoff run, the Democratic mayor attempted to do the fan base's signature chant of spelling out the team name. However, she spelled it "E-L-G-S-E-S."
Parker addressed this mistake during a press conference on Tuesday.

"We don't promise perfection, I'm so happy I never have," Parker told reporters. "Especially after I couldn't spell Eagles right."

clearly she is DEI and not fit for the job, as for the thread pointing out known empirical evidence is not exactly racist and he does not fit the troll definition
historically blacks do the worst on tests and the ASVAB which is why most but not all do not get a technical job but are just grunt soldiers
speaking a truth should not be racist, if this was an asian lady she would speak clearly and know how to spell her own team

Seriously? So now a woman charged with running the city of Philadelphia admits not knowing a word which arguably most 3rd-4th graders know if not sooner, and all she has to say is that she never promised perfection?

Instead of blaming blacks for being angry about how they were treated and inventing terms like victim mentality, the commission took a long hard look at American societal issues. The bottom line is that the Kerner Commission determined in 1968 what blacks already knew and what whites refused to hear.

“What white Americans have never fully understood but what the Negro can never forget--is that white society is deeply implicated in the ghetto. White institutions created it, white institutions maintain it, and white society condones it.

The same thing can be said right now. And in fact it was.

On February 26, 2018, fifty years after the Kerner Commission findings, the Economic Policy Institute published a report evaluating the progress of the black community since the Kerner Report was released. The study compared the improvement in black communities in 2018 with the black community at the time of the Kerner Commission. Titled “50 Years After the Kerner Commission,” the study concluded that there had been some improvements in the situation blacks faced, but blacks still faced disadvantages based on race.

Richard Rothstein of the Economic Policy Institute wrote an op-ed published in the February 28, 2018 edition of the New York Daily News titled, “50 years after the Kerner Commission, minimal racial progress.” After studying the Kerner Report, Rothstein stated: “So little has changed since 1968 that the report remains worth reading as a near-contemporary description of racial inequality.”

Funny, I graduated High School on 1954 and more than a quarter of my graduating class were black students. My Graduating Class totaled nearly 300...
I know that the teachers were not cooking the books, Most of the class graduated with Academic Diplomas.
At my last reunion which was 2004 I noted that many of us did decently well.

This conversation isn't about just you and the 80 or 90 blacks in your graduating class.

You represent the problem. You're nearly 90 years old and your beliefs about blacks are just as old. You ignore everything whites did to exclude us then try telling us how its black who needed the extra help when it has been whites getting the extra help all along.
