Another case of Rotten Tomatoes thinks it is almost perfect, while the audience ratings range from... meh to bleh.
My wife wanted to see it, so we rented it.
I have no idea why directors and writers like to start some movies without any introduction to what is going on. So for the first 15-20 minutes you don't know who anyone is, what they are talking about and why they are talking about it.
After a bit you learn these are spies working for the U.K. Government who keep talking about some big deal that the director doesn't think it is important for the viewers to know what it is. Finally when the movie is well over half way through they reveal what this is all about. And at that moment - the movie starts. From this point on the movie isn't too bad, now that you have an idea what the hell is happening.
If you like to spend 30 minutes watching random scenes and scenes of Cate Blanchett, a once beautiful woman who looks like a lizard-human cross species from all of the terrible plastic surgery - this is the movie for you.
