…both our parents are American citizens as were our grandparents on both sides and we are both "naturalized" citizens. We can't run for president, why should McCain be able to?????
Um…no…
If both of your parents were American citizens, then so are you – you’re not ‘naturalized’:
Bases for Citizenship: Birth, Blood, or Naturalization
The U.S. recognizes citizenship according to two fundamental principles: jus soli (right of birthplace), and jus sanguinis (right of blood). Under jus soli, a person receives American citizenship by virtue of being born in the United States.
By contrast, jus sanguinis confers citizenship on those born to at least one U.S. citizen anywhere in the world. A person who does not qualify under either of these principles may seek U.S. citizenship through the process of naturalization.

It’s true that those naturalized may not run for vice president or president; but you and McCain are qualified to be president (assuming you’re 35 or older), and Obama is qualified to be president.
If you want to believe you’re ‘naturalized’ and not eligible to be president, that’s fine, it’s your business.
But that’s not the case for Obama and McCain.
