Birds in a Grill - Non-Political Topic

Okay, so I recently moved from a First floor unit to a second floor unit... and put my grill out on the balcony.

Well, I've had some birds nesting in grill after I took the cover off.

Short of putting the grill cover on all the time when not in use, anyone have any suggestions how to deter the birds?

The cover is the problem.....Just leave it off till nesting season is over for your area and you will be fine.

Fire up the grill. They will leave.

I've always used big fake owl eyes to keep homeless seagulls from shitting on my boat. I fill up balloons with helium and have my kids fingerpaint eyeballs on them. And tie them to the railing (the balloons, not the kids).

It scares away the seagulls.

They work great.
