There were a number of terrorist travel bans at that time too. Regardless...he would be criticized for not calling the bans or criticized for calling them. Racism is just the default parrot issue that gets thrown in on everything. The idea that any measure whatsoever could have stopped the spread of the virus was always a joke. Can't be done.
