Big Mistake: Pali's Do It Again

MJB12741, et al,

Of course the Israeli's will consider retaliation; but I don't think it would an effective application of pain. Don't get me wrong, if they get some actionable intelligence or a hostile target of opportunity emerges, that they won't neutralize it.

Tel Aviv shooting: A look at the four victims
Can't wait for Israel's retaliation & watching the Palestinians & their supporters ***** about how many more dead Palestinians there are than Israeli's. It's called Palestinian mentality.
(COMMENT)

I think that Israel will increase pressure on their security countermeasures, barriers, checkpoints, and border crossings. I did not hear any suggestion that these were Arab-Israeli citizens. Assuming that, I thing that the Israel Security Forces will want to do something that will not affect there own civilians, yet screen-out all possible Hostile Arab Palestinian (HoAP). The most effective way is to maximize security and prevention is screening at the border crossing points; before threats have an opportunity to enter.

Most Respectfully,

Why do ZioNazis think that Palestinians especially young men will behave any differently than Kurds in Turkey, Catholics in Northern Ireland, Non-Whites in Apartheid South Africa or any other oppressed people.

I don't get it. Is it because the oppressor is Jew, and as such, oppression by Jews of non-Jews is sacrosanct?

I'm with you.

Expecting the Arabs not to kill Jews?

It's against all laws of nature.
Correct. Let's not expect Arabs and Muslims to stop killing innocent people.

Yes. You cannot give human attributes to savage animals. I totally agree.

I have a suggestion. Let's start a drive to send tons of candy to Gaza. Para-drop it on PA Headquarters so they can pass it out to all the people. Thus, the people will get their sugar buzz and won't need to kill some innocent people for their treats. I would suggest sending nothing but Life Savers.

On the serious side, I almost go into a homicidal rage when I read news articles like the following.

Following the shooting, Salma al-Jamal, a Palestinian news anchor working at Al-Jazeera TV, wrote on Twitter: "The Ramadan operation is the best answer to stories about 'peace process'."

Palestinians in the West Bank and east Jerusalem took to the streets to celebrate the deadly terrorist shooting in Tel Aviv on Wednesday night that left four people dead and several others wounded.
Upon hearing the reports of the shooting, dozens of Palestinians gathered at Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem, singing out loud and cheering the gunmen.

In the West Bank city of Tulkarm, many young men took to the streets and distributed candies to the local drivers, while in the Dheisheh Refugee Camp in Bethlehem dozens of Palestinians participated in a march praising the terror attack.

Palestinians also expressed their joy on social media networks, where they created the hashtags “#Carlo Bullet,” after the name of the improvised submachine gun used in the attack, and “#Ramadan Operation” to laud the horrendous terror shooting.

Apparently Syria's Hafez Assad didn't misunderstand the Palestinians either. Maybe the Jordanians taught them how to understand and therefore communicate with the Palestinians?

1982 Hama massacre
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Not to be confused with 2012 Hama massacre or 1981 Hama massacre.
Hama Massacre
مجزرة حماة

A section of Hama, after the government attack
Location Hama, Syria
Date 2–28 February 1982
Target Civilians and scattered militants

Attack type
Siege
Deaths estimates vary between 20,000,[1] 30,000,[2] and 40,000[3][4]

The Hama massacre (Arabic: مجزرة حماة‎‎) occurred in February 1982, when the Syrian Arab Army and the Defense Companies, under the orders of the country's president Hafez al-Assad, besieged the town of Hama for 27 days in order to quell an uprising by the Muslim Brotherhood against al-Assad's government.[2][3] The massacre, carried out by the Syrian Army under commanding General Rifaat al-Assad, effectively ended the campaign begun in 1976 by Sunni Muslim groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood, against the government

Tel al-Zaatar massacre

Date August 12, 1976
Location Beirut
Result Destruction of the camp

The Tel al-Zaatar battle (Arabic: معركة تل الزعتر‎‎) took place during the Lebanese Civil War on August 12, 1976. Tel al-Zaatar (The Hill of Thyme) was a UNRWA administered Palestinian Refugee camp housing approximately 50,000-60,000 refugees in northeast Beirut.

By the first week of June, Syrian forces had applied a blockade of West Beirut, a predominantly Muslim section that contained the Palestinian headquarters, leaving only the southern route open.[9][10] From 22 June the Phalangist forces, many Christian residents of Ras el-Dekweneh and Mansouriye controlled by Maroun Khoury with Syrian backing intensified the blockade to a full-scale military assault that lasted 35 days.[1][10] The Lebanese right-wing militias had laid siege to the refugee camp for 3 months. When the camp fell, the Palestinian deaths numbered in the thousands.[11] The besieging militia's loss was around 200 armed men.

Tel Aviv terror attack earns gunmen a salary from the Palestinian Authority

Here’s an ugly footnote to Wednesday’s terror attack in Tel Aviv: The two gunmen now automatically qualify for monthly salaries from the Palestinian Authority.

That right is enshrined in Article 22.2 of the PA constitution, the Basic Law of Palestine.

The terrorists opened fire at a popular open-air market, killing four innocents and wounding five others. It was the latest of some 300 attacks these last nine months, which include stabbings, bombings, motor-vehicle assaults and other mayhem. The slaughter’s claimed 30 Israeli lives (including some Arab ones), and two Americans.

Finally a macabre re-enactment of the attack

A Palestinian media group produced a video re-enacting a grisly terrorist attack that claimed the lives of four people and wounded 16 others in Tel Aviv on Wednesday.

The video, titled “Hard Work Pays Off,” depicts a man breaking his Ramadan fast before donning a suit, disguising himself as an Orthodox Jew and, along with an accomplice, gunning down passersby in the street. A fallen victim is shown wearing a Jewish skullcap. The killers are then shot themselves, with one raising his finger to the sky, as though in prayer.

The attack in Tel Aviv’s Sarona Market was carried out by two Palestinian gunmen in suits, and initial reports indicated that the pair was disguised as Orthodox Jews. Israel police spokeswoman Luba Samri later dismissed those reports.

The video was posted online on Thursday, the same day that Ido Ben Ari, 42, wasburied after being gunned down in front of his wife and two children in Sarona. Three other victims of the attack — Mila Mishayev, 32; Michael Feige, 58; and Ilana Naveh, 39 — were laid to rest on Friday. Sixteen others were wounded in the attack.

I guess this is what the US gets for sending about $900 million a year in aid to the Palestinian authority, at the insistence of stupid liberals. More, not less terror attacks.

Hossfly, et al,

Yes, this is a unusual example of two important aspects of the law:

• Under 18 USC § 2339B - Providing material support or resources to designated foreign terrorist organizations: The secretary can authorize any financial institution authority to provides funds to a foreign terrorist organization (PA which provides annuities to and material support for terrorists). Congress can authorize the funds; then the Banking System transfers the US Foreign Aid to Palestine.

* This is not only contrary to US Law (Congress exempt), but also international Law, S/RES/1373 (2001), which incites or encourages acts of terrorism for financial gain:

1. Decides that all States shall:

(a) Prevent and suppress the financing of terrorist acts;
(b) Criminalize the wilful provision or collection, by any means, directly or indirectly, of funds by their nationals or in their territories with the intention that the funds should be used, or in the knowledge that they are to be used, in order to carry out terrorist acts;
(c) Freeze without delay funds and other financial assets or economic resources of persons who commit, or attempt to commit, terrorist acts or participate in or facilitate the commission of terrorist acts; of entities owned or controlled directly or indirectly by such persons; and of persons and entities acting on behalf of, or at the direction of such persons and entities, including funds derived or generated from property owned or controlled directly or indirectly by such persons and associated persons and entities;
(d) Prohibit their nationals or any persons and entities within their territories from making any funds, financial assets or economic resources or financial or other related services available, directly or indirectly, for the benefit of persons who commit or attempt to commit or facilitate or participate in the commission of terrorist acts, of entities owned or controlled, directly or indirectly, by such persons and of persons and entities acting on behalf of or at the direction of such persons;

(OBSERVATION)

Article 22
  1. Social, health, disability and retirement insurance shall be regulated by law.
  2. Maintaining the welfare of families of martyrs, prisoners of war, the injured and the disabled is a duty that shall be regulated by law. The National Authority shall guarantee these persons education, health and social insurance.

(COMMENT)

I simply don't know the political and diplomatic reasons for this. I suspect that the US Administration is afraid that if they withhold the funding, then the Palestinians will slowly decline into chaos and failed State status.

But I'm betting that the US Administration does not want to be fingered (internationally) as the cause for creation of a new and much more dangerous breeding ground for Radical Islamist and Jihadist; another cesspool for terrorists. Convulsing from internal violence and unable to support their domestic constituency with a favorable economy Nation-state governments fail and forfeit legitimacy, and the very nature of the State of Palestine itself becomes illegitimate in the eyes of its citizenry.

Most Respectfully,

1. Decides that all States shall:

(a) Prevent and suppress the financing of terrorist acts;
(b) Criminalize the wilful provision or collection, by any means, directly or indirectly, of funds by their nationals or in their territories with the intention that the funds should be used, or in the knowledge that they are to be used, in order to carry out terrorist acts;
(c) Freeze without delay funds and other financial assets or economic resources of persons who commit, or attempt to commit, terrorist acts or participate in or facilitate the commission of terrorist acts; of entities owned or controlled directly or indirectly by such persons; and of persons and entities acting on behalf of, or at the direction of such persons and entities, including funds derived or generated from property owned or controlled directly or indirectly by such persons and associated persons and entities;
(d) Prohibit their nationals or any persons and entities within their territories from making any funds, financial assets or economic resources or financial or other related services available, directly or indirectly, for the benefit of persons who commit or attempt to commit or facilitate or participate in the commission of terrorist acts, of entities owned or controlled, directly or indirectly, by such persons and of persons and entities acting on behalf of or at the direction of such persons;

Rewarding terrorists is part of the Palestinian pride.

It's funny how they keep complaining about Israel being a "welfare state" while apparently, according to your document, the Palestinians are among the biggest receipients of foreign aid per capita in the world. And the US is the biggest donor, as usual.

I don't believe the Israelis want to see this money dry up. Then the leadership will not be able to steal most of the so called aid money and therefore less incentive to clamp down on the terrorism, and Israel will have to step in both financially and militarily.

"Since the establishment of limited Palestinian self-rule in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the mid-1990s, the U.S. government has committed more than $5 billion in bilateral economic and non-lethal security assistance to the Palestinians, who are among the world’s largest per capita recipients of international foreign aid. Successive Administrations have requested aid for the Palestinians in apparent support of at least three major U.S. policy priorities of interest to Congress..."
